We want you to know how LMTAAA and our community partners are responding and operating during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check back periodically for updates to services and possible changes in operating procedures and/or contacts.

Service Impacts (updated as of 3/27/2020)+

Please note: we are working our hardest to continue supporting our clients during this time. You may find the following information, by county, below. We will continue to update this as more information becomes available.

LEWIS/MASON/THURSTON COUNTIES (ALL three):

  • Long Term Care Ombudsman Program: as of 3/11/2020, our volunteers are making phone calls to check residents in long term care facilities. Check www.WAOmbudsman.org  for updates, or call 360-943-6018 or 1-800-562-6028 for assistance
  • Family Education & Support Services (FESS): as of 3/13/2020, all kinship caregiver support groups have been cancelled. Virtual support groups start March 31. Check http://familyess.org/   for updates

 

MASON & THURSTON COUNTIES (BOTH):

  • Brighter Days Adult Day Care @ Senior Services for South Sound is temporarily closed as of 3/13/2020. Check http://southsoundseniors.org/   for updates or call 360.407.3967, ext. 207

 

LEWIS COUNTY: 

  • Congregate meals @ Lewis County Seniors closed as of 3/16/2020.
  • Meals can be ordered from Lewis County Seniors for delivery. They also have drive thru lines at each center.  The information can be found on their website at https://lewiscountyseniors.org/   for updates and how to order

 

MASON COUNTY:

  • The HUB has limited hours as of 3/16/2020, open from 10-2 p.m. for Emergency Services only/All Events Cancelled. Check http://hubhappenings.org/   for updates
  • Mason County Senior Activities Center as of 3/13/2020, ALL Operations discontinued
  • Congregate Meals @ Senior Services for South Sound (SSSS) Closed as of 3/13/2020 Working options of Home Delivered meals vs. drive thru
  • Meals can be ordered from Senior Services for South Sound for home delivery.
