Request for Proposals

 

A Request for Proposals (RFP) is being released by the Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging (LMTAAA) for the following services in Lewis, Mason and Thurston Counties in 2021:

 

  1. Kinship Caregiver Support Services
    • Older Americans Act Family Caregiver Support Program – Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
    • Kinship Caregivers Support Program
    • Kinship Navigator Program
  2. Family Caregiver Support Services
    • Out of Home Respite Care
    • In-Home Level 3 (Skilled Nursing) Respite Care
    • Family Caregiver Counseling Services
  3. Regional Long Term Care Ombudsman

 

This procurement is a competitive process. Applicants may include for-profit, non-profit or governmental entities, or individuals working on a paid or volunteer basis, that meet the provider qualifications. The RFP requires applicants to provide a detailed description of the proposed budget or unit rate and mechanism for service delivery, specific details of the applicant’s experience, administrative structure, fiscal management and policies and procedures. Contracts are awarded on a state fiscal year basis, with an annual option to renew up to three (3) additional years, at the discretion of LMTAAA. 

 

The number of applicants selected will vary, depending on the service. One (1) applicant will be selected to provide all Kinship Caregiver Support Services in all three counties. Up to three (3) applicants per service will be selected to provide each Family Caregiver Support Service per county (Family Caregiver Counseling, Out of Home Respite, and Level 3 Skilled Nursing Respite). One (1) applicant will be selected to be the Regional Long Term Care Ombudsman.
